The Department conducts research and teaching activities in the field of social sciences in the disciplines of legal sciences, management and quality sciences and economics and finance.

The research and teaching activities of the Department’s staff focus on the problems of macro- and micro-economic policy and economic law. The main research streams include issues in financial markets, public management and macroeconomics and marketing.

In the didactic field, the Department’s employees teach, for instance:

• organisation and management in public administration, microeconomics, financial accounting, market economics, marketing, securities - discipline: economics and finance, management and quality sciences
• public economic law, banking law, financial law, energy law - discipline: legal sciences.
