The Department of Administration Sciences and Security in Administration conducts research and teaching activities in the area of social sciences in the following disciplines: security sciences, administration sciences, sociology and in the field of computer science.

The didactic activity of the Department mainly concerns the following areas: principles of the political system of the state, history of administration, sociology and social policy, sociology of organisation, sociological research methods, social insurance system, information and communication technologies, information security and ICT systems, security systems and national security.
