The activities of the interdisciplinary Department of Administrative Law and the Science of Public Policies of the Faculty, which consists of research and teaching staff specialising in legal sciences and the science of public policies, cover the following research and teaching areas:
- General questions of jurisprudence,
- Administrative law, including: local government law, administrative and court-administrative procedures, enforcement law, construction law and real estate management, telecommunications law, environmental law, food law,
- Constitutional law, including: parliamentary law, issues of legislation and law-making, issues of control of the constitutionality of law and of the Constitutional Court,
- Civil law,
- Intellectual property law,
- Human rights,
- EU law, including EU institutional law, internal market freedoms and EU funding,
- Property valuation and appraisal,
- Political science and administration in the social sciences, including public policy sciences,
- Quality of education, freedom of research and teaching.
The academic staff of the Department are experienced teachers and supervisors of bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses.
